Jean-Luc Grand-Clément

Jean-Luc Grand-Clément has co-founded several microelectronics and semiconductor companies.

In 1992 he created PixTech Inc., serving as Chairman and CEO until 1999. PixTech develops and manufactures flat screens using microtip technology emerging from the CEA-LETI research laboratory. PixTech was floated on the NASDAQ exchange in 1995.

Jean-Luc Grand-Clément also co-founded ES2 in 1995, an ASIC manufacturer. The company was subsequently acquired by Atmel. Prior to this, he held several managerial roles at Motorola. From 1983 to 1985 he was Vice President and General Manager of Motorola European Semiconductor Group.

Jean-Luc Grand-Clément is a graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications (ENST).
