SRI / Sustainable Development

Idinvest Partners puts Socially Responsible Investment at the heart of its investment process for two fundamental reasons:
- It is our responsibility as an investor to ensure that the executive management of companies to whom we provide financing have fully integrated the values of sustainable development in their business practices and are aware of the issues raised by SRI.
- Taking into account SRI concepts in the early stages of the investment process makes it possible to anticipate and prepare for future regulatory constraints that the companies of tomorrow will face.
In the conduct of its own operations, Idinvest Partners has itself fully integrated in this issue:
- Accurately measuring the SRI dimension of our investment funds selected through a questionnaire during the due diligence phase ensures that SRI principles remain at the heart of our investment processes.
- Systematically requesting managers of the companies in our portfolio to provide information on their environmental, labour relations and ethical practices also represents an important approach. This process enables the management team to ensure that these companies apply the best practices in the area of Sustainable Development and have identified and implemented appropriate risk management measures.
And as private equity represents an increasingly important source of financing for companies, Idinvest Partners is also convinced that it will exercise a decisive role in determining the development of future SRI practices.
Furthermore, by incorporating these issues within its own management processes, Idinvest Partners
seeks to promote their wider adoption and, where applicable, contribute to developing investment processes that apply such principles even more actively. The objective of this approach is to develop expertise and experience capable of
taking into account SRI issues while continuing to maintain the focus on delivering a high level of performance.
